This sub-series consists of loose leaf songs and poems by Louisa Matilda Crawford. It also includes a couple of poems by other writers, such as Robert Burns and Peter Pindar, transcribed by Louisa, however the majority of the work is her own. The written format makes distinguishing between “song” and “poem” difficult. Cues have been taken from the title of the work but the two should be considered as somewhat interchangeable.
