Cūṭāmaṇi nikaṇṭu (fragment) by Maṇṭalapuruṭan, 19th century
Scope and Contents
Comprises the first section of a lexicon in verse by the sixteenth century Jaina Maṇṭalapuruṭan. This section covers names of deities, commencing with the Jaina god Arukan. Evidence suggest that this copy was written out by a Muslim, which is unusual as the text is not Islamic.
