Biographical / Historical
Waddington was appointed Director of the National Animal Breeding and Research Organisation (NABGRO, later ABRO) as well as to the Buchanan Chair in Genetics in 1946, and moved into the Institute of Animal Genetics building in 1947. He remained in post until his death in 1975.
