Biographical / Historical
UnivEd Technologies Ltd was set up in 1984 to market the resources of the University of Edinburgh to industry, commerce and government, some of these resources lying within the Department of Molecular Biology. Part of its activities were focussed towards work within the European Community and there was interaction between staff and students of the Department of Molecular Biology and similar in Europe.
