Although the portrait is unidentified, the same print appears in the Alan Greenwood collection at Coll-1057/6/2/2, where it is credited as 'Professor F.A.E Crew's Presentation Portrait.' This could possibly date from the late 1940s, around the time Crew gave up his post as Professor of Animal Genetics and left the directorship of the Institute.
