Biographical / Historical
The Faculty of Science were looking to coordinate electron microscope facilities and involved members of the departments including Chemistry, Botany, Molecular Biology and Zoology. A working group/party was established to investigate the purchase of an electron microscope for the department and recommended a specific brand and model. Correspondence on the matter was conducted within and outwith the department and included the securing of the necessary funds.
