Processing Information

These items were listed in the printed legacy catalogue as 'several Paris plans (see P. Geddes' 'Cities in Evolution' (1946), p.186-187, and not at present in the archive'. This would suggest that there were perhaps 5 plans indicated which included the following: 1. A plan showing the early settlement of Paris 2. A general plan of Paris from 1870 3. Illustration showing an oblique view of Paris, 1540 4. Plan showing the gardens and Palace of Versailles, 1624 5. The Turgot Plan of Paris, 1734-1736 (see Coll-1167/A/6/4) These plans were not located during the 2017 stocktake of the collection.
