Likely to be a reproduction print of Merian's map of Paris, which was created in 1615 and shows a bird's eye view of Paris looking from West to East. The printed legacy catalogue details Alfred Bernadot but this is likely to be incorrect and the correct name should read Alfred Bonnardot (1808-1884), who published on the medieval architecture of Paris in 'Etudes archeologiques sur les anciens plans de Paris' in 1851.
