London Capital Scenes, c 1914
Scope and Contents
A series of 33 prints and photographs from varied sources depicting London Capital scenes, encompassing Coll-1167/A/28/1-27. This series of prints and illustrations was originally displayed on one composite sheet, but items were separated at some point prior to 1998. It is unserstood that this composite sheet formed part of Patrick Geddes' (replacement) Cities and Town Planning Exhibition, attributed exhibit number 575. On the reverse of the composite sheet was written 'London Capital Scenes (Cooke & May)'. The position of each item within the series on the original composite sheet is indicated in the scope and content of each item's particular catalogue description.
