On the front of the drawing: Note (not dated): 'These Knobs to be cast on the Stove Pipe at equal distances from each other. A wrought iron hoop to be heated and put on the Pipe below the three Knobs. This Hoop to have three welded to it turned up and hold as shown in section above. At This wrought iron hoop to be suppored by the two wrought iron Bars which must kneed and fixed into the walls.'
