Open letter from Andrew Gillman to the editor of The Times, originally published in The Times on the 9th of July 1877. Same letter as Coll-1973/18, in which Gillman defend John Francis Goodeve-Erskine's claim to the Earl of Mar title and giving a reply to Lord Redesdale's letters arguing that the Earldom of Mar was newly created in 1565.
