Scope and Contents
Papers form a file titled Anti-Social Gangs. Consists of: Handwritten notes by Spencer for a number of talks relating his work on the Bristol Social Project and the University Settlement Project in Toronto; Annotated copy of A Reporter at Large: The Cherubs are Rumbling from The New Yorker; handwritten and typed copies of "Working with Hard to Reach Youth", an address given by Spencer at the annual meeting of the Recreation Division of the Social Planning Council of Toronto, 1960; "Working with Teenage Groups", a handwritten talk delivered by Spencer when President of the Social Science Society at the London School of Economics, 1957.
