p. 23 Land in Coal Period why where now [now where] the Atlantic. This made the plants the same and the shells very different species.
p. 26 England surrounded by a submarine plain. Ramsay.
p. 26 Subsidence of 36,000 ft proofs of in South Wales, do [Ramsay].
p. 27 Overlapping strata. In the case the newest of the 2nd series rest on the oldest of the older [sketch showing onlapping strata of sedimentary sequences; the younger onlapping the older underlying sequence]
p. 27 If subsidence of 36,000 ft true, a chance later Himalaya may have disappeared & glacial period with it.
