Scope and Contents
"This man, a farm worker, is illiterate, at least he can't sign his name. Wife died in childbirth, child died too. The children can all count but can't read. [Male informant] confirms that he is dull, but his family are OK. [Male informant] says he was an absolute animal - his wife had children less than a year apart. She also carreid on with black men."
