Scope and Contents
"This wee boy was very slow in speaking - has a cleft palate? Incomers, nice people. [Male informant] says he is all right. Dr confirms mother says he is very nervous. Nurse says this child has a cleft palate and a hair lip - will never be a good speaker. Speaks to the other children now, but not to nurse."
