"This girl has a peculiar skin trouble, looks haggard and old, is neurotic, has a streak of bitterness, minister can't win her confidence. TB? Had a child to a soldier and is again pregnant. Does odd jobs like sitting in at night. Feels kicked around by everybody. Has a reputation of picking up things at home and selling them to buy cigarettes etc."
