Scope and Contents
"An old M.D. who cannot answer even simple questions, but at most executes simple orders. Was sent to CRI from poorhouse where he, it was stated, became very destructive for the last four months, after being placid and obedient for years. As his speech is confined to "yes" and "no" it is very difficult to get at anything substantial. He apparently cannot read or write. Rate-aided patient. Vagrant, illegitimate."
