32.19 Female, Widowed, Over 65 yrs, Schizophrenia, August 1947
Scope and Contents
"Patient had a septic bunion which steadily got worse and which urgently needs attention now. For the last thirty years or so since her husband's death, she has been living in a world of her own, having no contact with the outside world at all. Used to be difficult but is now quite amenable. Hears voices and imagines things. No ideas of reference; no interest at all in other people. Can look after herself all right and has been doing a little housework. Recent memroy is poor, remote memory is all right and in latter years she has been going back to her young days. Has never seen a doctor or had any treatement."
