"This man, a gardener, was a conscientious objector and kept to his point - was not called up. Has some peculiar ideas. Left sevearl jobs after differences of opinions. Now doing jobbing gardening - very good workman, unsettled. Nurse says this man has funny ideas - believes in nature and herbs, won't let his children be immunised. His father was killed in the last war. He is a good worker and very intelligent. Housing is shocking, they live in two little henhouses."
