Scope and Contents
'This woman is thought to be dull and slow by the schoolmaster but Mrs L thinks she is all right. She works on a farm. Very clean and tidy. Widow (husband killed in Germany, his death was precipitating cause of his Uncle's breakdown). Parents still alive, mother aged about 40+, stolid, shy woman. Son was illegitimate and never legitimised after marriage.'
