"Birth injury, one side paralysed, cannot walk but hops. Low grade, has to be looked after. ? Illegitimate. Father works on the railway. Poor physique and low intelligence. Mother 50+. PAO confirms. Said to have been the result of falling down a stair. The rest are all right. Nurse confirms, parents quite nice."
