Scope and Contents

"This girl runs about like a school kid, plays with little girls, dresses as if she were much younger. She is considered MD, has never had a job. Never at school. Father dead, was alcoholic, drank a bottle a day. Mother married again, is on every committee. Housing - largish, about 6 rooms, looked clean from the outside. [Female informant] says her mother is an awful woman, a busy-body and a mischief maker, must have her nose in everybody's business, but is on a lot of committees and gets things done. Dr - a very nice girl and helpful, but has never grown up mentally."
