Scope and Contents

"Occupation: Housemaid. Diagnosis: Hysteria. "Has had a most unsatisfactory childhood. It appears that with each period she becomes depressed and listless, tearful and feels nobody wants her. The most recent attack seems to have coincided with an attack of fibrositis which interuppted her work and has given her more time for introspection. If she follows her usual routine she should cheer up. She should be encouraged to return to work and I would like to see her for a therapeutic talk. I feel that this would nto be profitable until she is working"."
