Scope and Contents

"Diagnosis: Pyknolepsy. Problem. Before Christmas started wetting his trousers, seemed to look into space at thsi time; he also does this without wetting; may do it twice in half an hour; sometimes it happens in company, sometimes while putting on clothes, or at any time. Never wets the bed at night. These turns only last for a second or so; never sways or falls down; if his face is rubbed he comes out of it straight away; no change of colour; nothing has happened which may have upset him. Father, very good health, very quiet, easy-going, good to children, interested and takes children out with him, leaves all punishment to mother. Mother, very good health, manages children without leathering them, not nervous."
