Scope and Contents
Silver medal from the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland. On the obverse is the logo of the Society (raised seated classical female figure with Scottish armorial shield honouring figures representing agriculture and industry) with the legend 'Semper Armis Nunc Et Industria' and on the reverse is a laurel wreath containing the inscription 'J. Cossar Ewart / Duddingston House / For St Kilda Ewe With Twin Lambs / By Blackface Tup / Peebles Show / 1906'. Around the border is inscribed 'Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland Inst MDCCLXXXIV.'
