Commemoration of the battle of Storkyro.
Obverse: bust of Pyotr Alexeyevich Romanov (Peter I of Russia) (Peter the Great) (1672-1725). Legend: PETRUS. ALEXII FIL. D. G. RVSS.IMP. M. DVXMOSCOVIAE.
Reverse: on the top an angel is holding a flag with the right hand. On the background a map representing the battle of Storkyro, near Vasa, Finland. Legend: PUGNA AD VASAM. Exergue: DIE XIX FEBR. s.v. MDCCXIV. In this battle the Russian defeated the Swedish, and as a result Finland came under the Russian military occupation. This Battle occurred in the context of the Great Northern War.
