Scope and Contents
Empress Elizaveta Petrovna of Russia (1709-1762) and the new settlements in New Serbia.
Obverse: bust of the Empress Elizaveta Petrovna of Russia. Legend: D. G. ELISABETA. AVGVSTA. OMN. ROSS.
Reverse: on the centre an altar with the double eagle on the top. On the right the goddess Athena is holding a shield with the double eagle. On the background there is a field. Legend: NOVA SERBIA CONSTITVTA.
Exergue: MDCCLIV. New Serbia became a part of the Russian Empire in 1752. The Russian authorities gave this territory to the Serbs, who migrated to the Russian Empire at this time.
