File contains: Enrolment form; application form; correspondence and notes relating to the student's admission interview and enrolment including reference from Alfred Lodge, rector of Dumfries Academy; correspondence relating to progress of studies; correspondence with Professor John Spencer regarding the possiblity of completing the course in 1972.
