Correspondence between Norman Dott and various colleagues, dated January 1931. The items consist of autograph and typescript copies of letters to various colleagues outlining his plans, the history of the project to date, and asking for their support. Contains letters to: Harvey Cushing (containing a full account of Dott's plans), Edwin Bramwell, George M. Robertson, Sir David Wilkie, James Lorrain Smith (and reply), Wilfred Trotter (and reply), manuscript note by Dott, used as basis for his correspondence, with heading 'Question as between final development in Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh or at separate clinic - e.g. Jordanburn', 3 pp.
