This sub-series consists of 6 files contianing lectures and papers by Norman Dott on 'Surgical Neurology and other disciplines', dated 1958-1963. The material contains a historical outline of the subject, revised and expanded on various occasions, and including personal accounts of Dott's own special fields of interest; the building of the new departments at Edinburgh, and his views on the organisation of medical and surgical specialties.
