Visit to Oslo, December 1960

File containing material relating to Norman Dott's visit to Oslo, dated December 1960. The visit was undertaken to learn local cooling perfusion techniques developed by Professor K. Kristiansen. As a result of the visit, Dott decided to set aside specific time to study local cerebral cooling and attempted to raise funds for the purpose. The file includes a programme of the visit to Oslo by Dott and his team; correspondence between Dott, colleagues and officials, dated 1960-1961 in Edinburgh and Oslo; and Dott's manuscript notes of speeches and talks given in Oslo.
