This sub-series consists of 4 files containing material relating to Norman Dott's membership of the Medical Society of Edinburgh, 1956-1964. Dott was elected to Honorary Fellowship in 1955. The year of his retirement, 1962, coincided with the launching of an appeal for funds for new premises1 and Dott devoted much time and energy to fund-raising especially from U.S.A. sources.
