The obituary was prepared by Norman Dott for publication in the Yearbook of Royal Society of Edinburgh and the material consists of a typescript draft, and correspondence betweeen Dott and W. Noordenbos who collected and translated biographical material on Kappers for Dott's use, 1946-47.
