S.B.N.S. [ Society of British Neurological Surgeons] Committee on Registrars, 1950-1952

This sub-subseries consists of 2 files containing material relating to the S.B.N.S. [ Society of British Neurological Surgeons] Committee on Registrars, 1950-1952. The Committee was appointed at the 42nd meeting at Birmingham, in November 1950 'to report on urgent matters relating to the NHS, especially as regards excessive numbers of Registrars.' The Committee collected material by means of questionnaires and correspondence, met on various occasions, December 1950-May 1951 and produced a report. The Society set up an Advisory Council to consider matters of staffing and grading, which held its first meeting in September 1952.
