Norman Dott delivered the Third Sir Hugh Cairns Memorial Lecture on the training of the neurosurgeon, at this meeting. See Harris references 82 and 83 in Coll-32/A.3 and also Coll-32/D.228-D.232. The material consists of a programme; manuscript notes by Dott on papers given; business correspondence with Dott, autograph plan; draft, and typescript version with manuscript corrections of the lecture, and correspondence between Dott and colleagues regarding the training and recruitment of neurosurgeons, dated 1963-1966.
