Scope and Contents
Material relating to the Society of British Neurological Surgeons (S.B.N.S.) 40th Anniversary dinner at Athenaeum, December 1966. The material consists of autograph and typescript versions of Norman Dott's response to the President's Toast, with letters of thanks from colleagues, signed menu, etc; and correspondence with Dott on affairs of the Society, and espcially regarding the proposal to form a Neurosurgical Section of the Royal Society of Medicine, which Dott opposed in its original form, dated September 1966. The correspondents are Henry Cohen (Lord Cohen of Birkenhead) and Sir Arthur Porritt.
