Correspondence between Norman Dott and colleagues and papers on transphenoidal operation for pituitary tumours. The material consists of correspondence between Dott and Gilbert Horrax, 1957, correspondence between Dott and H.J. Svien, giving Dott's views and results of treatment, 1964. It includes manuscripts of lectures given by Dott on 'Surgical Diseases of the Pituitary Region' at Pretoria 1957, Aberdeen 1958, Smethwick 1959, and a paper by François L. Deborsu (one of Dott's students) 'Difficultés de la voie transphénoïdale', 1957.
