Scope and Contents
Daily journal entered into a 'Complete Pocketbook or Gentleman's and Tradesman's Journal'. With enclosures both within the text block and inside a dedicated pocket within the front cover.with printed pro-forma text showing week per double page spread view, facilitating the recording of daily appointments, memorandums and observations, and account of cash received and paid. Loose inserts inside a front pink pocket: used pink blotting paper; list of 'Gallery of Casts - Edinburgh - whole figures' 'Busts', 'Relievos', 'Modern', 'Picture on the Stair' with notes; dried leaf; small print engraving of a sailing boat.
