Scope and Contents
A notebook of Physiology lecture notes, taken down by future Principal of the R(D)SVS O.C. Bradley in 1890 at the New Veterinary College, Edinburgh. The lectures were given by Professor Hunter. The text includes sketches relating to the written content.
William William's, a Principal of the R(D)SVS between 1867-1873, founded a new veterinary college in Edinburgh after ongoing dissagreements with the board of trustees. The college was firstly based in Gayfield square before moving to a purpose built veterinary college on Elm Row. The college remained in Edinburgh until 1904 when the department moved to Liverpool.
O.C. Bradley became the chair of Anatomy at the R(D)SVS in 1900 and became the college's principal in 1911.
