Scope and Contents
These are three short historical extracts relating to the death of the Khalīfah al-Hādī and the accession of his son Hārūn al-Rashīd, taken from the following works:
- The history of Abū al-Faraj b. Harūn al-Māliṭī, fols. 1-23.
- Al-Mukhtaṣar fī Akhbar al-Bashar of Prince Abū al-Fidā (d. 732 A.H., 1331 C.E.).
- Ta'rīkh al-Muslimīn of George b. al-'Amīd b. Ilyas b. Abī al-Makārim b. Abī al-Ṭayyib, fols. 1-37.
