Register of Deaths, 1937 - 1949

A bound volume containing information on animals who died at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland between June 1937 - June 1949.

Information captured includes the date of death, name of specimen, reception no., and the cause of death.

The amount of information on the causes of death varies throughout the collection. If a post-mortem has taken place, these records should be captured in the collection of the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies.
