A guide to the Scottish National Zoological Park, now Edinburgh Zoo, by Thomas Gillespie. This is the fifteenth edition, with an estimated date of 1948.

The guide contains information on the RZSS council, hours and terms of admission to the park, feeding times, care of the animals, information on all the animals at the zoological park. The publication is full of photographs showing the animals at the zoo, the estate, and staff.

There is usually a map included in the guides, but in this case it has been removed.
