Notebook entitled "Notes of the Geology of the Vorarlberg" by John S. Douglass, 1860-1863
Scope and Contents
This is a field notebook of John Sholto Douglass (1838-1874), 15th Laird of Tilquhillie, Scottish mountaineer, naturalist and archaeologist who spent most of his life in Austria. It contains observations on geological features of the Vorarlberg region of Austria, dated from 3rd May 1860 to 6th January 1863.
