Biographical / Historical
A farm at Urco was acquired by Regions Beyond Missionary Union for the purpose of work with Peruvian native peoples. When Regions Beyond Missionary Union joined EUSA, the farm was purchased by EUSA in 1912 by C Hay Walker. When Thomas Payne arrived in Peru in 1919, he developed the farm considerably. However, as time went on, the farm did not prove as profitable as EUSA had hoped.
