- Printed copy of Lyell's evening lecture ‘On the Blackheath Pebble-bed, and on certain Phenomena in the Geology of the Neighbourhood of London’ p1-4. 2 April 1852.
- Manuscript notes preparing for the lecture ‘On the Discovery of some fossil reptilian remains, and a land-shell in the interior of an erect fossil-tree in the coal measures of Nova Scotia, with remarks on the origin of Coal Fields, and the time required for their formation’. Includes queries for Captain Strachey. Plus printed copy noted as being given to Katherine [sic] Lyell 'from her affectionate brother Charles Lyell' 19 April 1853.
