Undated letters, found in amongst the letters from Charles to his family, and removed to this section:
- 20 October, written at Cromer . Writes of his trip from Diss and of his return to Mildenhall. Has had a very successful expedition "the weather always threatening but no bad rain". Is with Mr Gunn who has provided much guidance - as well as J Hooker, Rev. Mr. King. Plans for Hoxne tomorrow.
- Undated letter to Mary, hoping to get the 6.50pm train from Bedford to be in London at 8pm, and hope to then accompany Mary to the Clarkes. With Evans and Prestwich.
