Biographical / Historical
From 1919-1927 John Baillie was Richards Professor of Christian Theology at Auburn Theological Seminary, New York. During this time his correspondants included his brother Donald Macpherson Baillie, Henry Sloane Coffin, Frederick Carlos Ferry, Jacob Gould Schurman, Hugh Ross Mackintosh (including correspondence about the vacancy at Auburn) and David Smith Cairns.
