19 March 1841, Oxford. Letter addressed to a Lord, whom Stumpff notes to be Haughton. Gayangos y Arce asks if he would like his colleague to transcribe and translate works at the library at El Escorial. He also asks if the addressee would help him loan a manuscript from the Asiatique Society's Library, and asks for help in understanding a passage he is studying.
