Scope and Contents

Andor Latzko (1876-1943), journalist and Middle Eastern traveller, 4 Typewritten Letters Signed.

4 letters and 3 envelopes addressed to John Schikowski, editor of the journal "Vorwärts".
- Letter 1: 26 April 1925. Latzko complains that "Vorwärts" does not want to print his Indian Letters, unlike other European magazines. He also sends Schikowski an article on Labour Day.
- Letter 2: 25 June Latzko asks whether a misunderstanding has led to him not receiving answers to his last two letters. He again offers his Indian Letters and mentions they will be published in a collected volume with accompanying photographs.
- Letter 3: 30 July Latzko discusses his renumeration and mentions that he always demands more money from capitalist papers than from political party journals.
- Letter 4: 13 September 1926. Latzko discusses the logistics of sending in his manuscripts and is willing to take less money than previously for his Indian Letters.
