Théodore Pavie (1811-1896), orientalist and traveller, Autograph Letter Signed 1852, to his father Louis.
1 Letter
- 2 February 1852, Paris. Letter to Pavie's father, Louis Pavie in Angers. He writes to let him know that he has returned to Paris. He gives news of several people, including his teacher Burnouf and describes an inspiring visit to the Louvre. He recounts his journey from Leuven and Brussels and asks his father to send him all his Hindi and Sanskrit books.
